Become a Community Connector!

  • Boyle Street Community League has Community Connectors! Community Connectors connect with other residents to learn about the neighbourhood and each other. From there they might connect neighbours to others with similar goals and interests, help community members put on events, or just help people feel more welcomed and connected in the neighbourhood. It’s like social media before social media!

  • This role is really what the person makes of it! BSCL is currently renewing the community connector initiative, and look forward to building it together with anyone who is interested!

  • The BSCL wants to ensure there are Community Connectors from the diversity of the Boyle Street community! We want to ensure we have connectors from all geographic areas, cultural communities, language communities, of all genders, abilities, socio-economic backgrounds, and interests! We also want to be open to people of all ages, though young children may invite us to strategize to ensure we have the appropriate supports. We want anyone who lives in the neighbourhood to feel welcome here! Be in touch if you can think of ways to approach this work to best enable the participation of all community members.

  • If you would be interested in becoming a community connector, want to learn more about the initiative, or know someone who you think would be a great connector, fill out this form here, be in touch at community@boylestreetcl.com, or at 587-717-BSCL(2725).

  • All Community Connectors will have support from other Connectors, Kim, and the rest of the Boyle Street Community League.
